Hi, I’m Amanda!
Planning weddings isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am. I’ve spent nearly 20 years creating exceptional events and timeless celebrations throughout the Capital Region of New York, The Berkshires, and the Hudson Valley. I’ve been in the industry long enough to know that while weddings are beautiful, they’re also complex. My job is to make sure your day feels effortless, elegant, and totally you.
I started Curora Weddings because I truly believe that every love story deserves to be celebrated with intention, grace, and authenticity. My approach is rooted in almost two decades of hands-on experience in hospitality and event management. From the bustling restaurant scene in Charleston to years at the helm of weddings with the best caterers, I’ve navigated every scenario you can imagine.
I also believe couples deserve better. Better communication. Better planning tools. Better support. Less pressure. More joy.

I pride myself on being resourceful, calm under pressure, and relentlessly organized. Whether it’s gracefully managing a last-minute weather change or coordinating dozens of vendors, I’m there with thoughtful solutions and a confident presence.
A Moment I’ll Never Forget:
One of my most stand out wedding memoires happened at a stunning historic barn in western New York. Everything was running smoothly, guests were enjoying cocktails, the atmosphere was perfect, and then disaster struck. Just as the culinary team was preparing to cook the main course, the oven’s wiring completely fried.
We were in the middle of nowhere, and I knew I needed to think fast. After a quick assessment and a deep breath, I remembered there was a hotel about 12 minutes away. I picked up the phone and explained our situation to the hotel staff. Thankfully, they agreed to let us use their ovens. I coordinated a safe and efficient plan to transport the food back and forth, making sure everything stayed at the right temperature.
Thanks to great communication, resourceful thinking, and a solid catering team, we pulled it off without a hitch. Dinner was served right on time, and the guests never knew anything had gone wrong.

Beyond Weddings & Events
When I’m not immersed in planning and hospitality, I’m at home spending time with my two boys, Charles and Theodore and husband, Sean. I love unwinding with an oaky Chardonnay and catching up on my favorite show. I’m naturally curious, a bit of a perfectionist, and completely passionate about making your wedding dreams come to life.
I truly love weddings. The emotion, the details, the energy of the day, but I also love helping people in other parts of the industry.
Alongside Curora Weddings, I also run Curora Studio, where I work with venues, caterers, and creative teams to strengthen their systems, improve guest experiences, and build smoother operations. It’s the same heart, just focused on the other side of the aisle.
Because of this, I take on a limited number of weddings each year. It gives me the space to be fully present for each couple and to make sure every detail is handled with care and intention.

TV is my love language. I can binge a series like it’s my job.
I am a true Libra, with Aries rising, and Virgo moon. A natural balance of beauty, precision, and bold leadership. Meaning I’ll finesse your vision, perfect the details, and keep the entire day moving with quiet confidence.
If I wasn’t in hospitality, I’d be an actress. Six-year-old me was convinced she’d move to LA and become famous.
